Day by day, I have been undressing the food I was eating to collect their protection, their envelop and skins. This collection illustrates not only what I have been eating for 10 days, but highlights the beauty of things usually aiming to the trash.
I have not only been amazed by the beauty of those skins and the way nature designed them in order to protect food but also by the way those layers and membranes continue living, at least evolving without their content.
I started having a close relationship with those skins, that I have been taking care of for several weeks. How to conserve them, how do they dry, how do they evolve when they are deprived of what they are supposed to contain.
The surface is enough to reveal what used to be beneath. Food skin is our first interaction with food. They are thus visual and recognizable elements in our food routine.
